Why I don’t host services that hold user data to the public

To put it simply, I don’t want to be responsible for possible data loss that could be my fault or something out of my control.

I know, “Just do backups”. But what if the backups fail? What if the encryption key is lost? What if I accidentally delete the wrong folder?

It’s too much stress for me to handle. I just want to host services for myself and my friends and family. I don’t want to have to worry about random people’s data.

I hope you understand.
